Birmingham tax protestors disrupt Christmas shopping
They may have lost the battle against higher tuition fees but Birmingham students are not giving up the fight.
A dozen protestors staged demonstrations in Birmingham City Centre today, disrupting business at HSBC, Vodafone and Topshop, where they were physically removed by Bullring security. They allege that all three companies are contributing to the country's economic problems by not paying their fair share of taxes.
The protest was part of a wider action organized by UKuncut, which says demonstrations were held in 52 locations across the country.
